The big idea
You don't need to own the building to own the solar.
Traditional business solar starts with the property
- Do we own the roof?
- Is there enough roof space?
- Will the landlord approve it?
- Will the building allow installation?
- Are we staying here long enough?
SolarCloud starts with a different question
How much energy cost does your business want solar to help reduce?
Your solar does not need to be installed where your employees sit.
Your business owns the solar. SolarCloud hosts it for you.
- No modifications to the office.
- No rooftop installation.
- No electrician entering your tenancy.
- No need to own the property.

Real solar. Just not on your office roof.
Yes. It's real solar.
You are not buying points. You are not buying a theoretical energy discount.
Your business owns real SolarCloud solar.
Your solar is professionally hosted and maintained in high-performing locations. It generates electricity. That generation creates financial value. That value is converted into AU$ credits that can help reduce your business's Australian energy costs.
Real solar ownership without the real-estate problem.

Finance + P&L
Good for the energy bill. Good for the business case.
Most sustainability initiatives cost the business money. SolarCloud is designed to address an expenditure your company already has: energy.
Instead of treating sustainability purely as a cost centre, SolarCloud can combine energy-cost reduction with real renewable-solar ownership and visible corporate sustainability action.
The green decision can also be the commercial decision.
ESG / Sustainability
Make your energy strategy something shareholders can see.
Your organisation can show that it is taking tangible action rather than simply publishing another sustainability statement. SolarCloud gives the business a measurable renewable-solar asset that can become part of its wider:
- ESG strategy
- Sustainability plan
- Renewable-energy strategy
- Net-zero pathway
- Environmental reporting
- Stakeholder communications
- Annual sustainability reporting
- Employee engagement
Don't just say you're going greener. Own the solar.
NABERS now displays a Renewable Energy Indicator showing the proportion of a building's energy that comes from on-site and qualifying off-site renewable energy, and specifically recognises certain off-site renewable-energy purchases, including those supported through voluntary LGC surrender.
Important: SolarCloud ownership does not automatically confer a NABERS, Green Star, carbon-neutral or formal Scope 2 renewable-electricity claim. Treatment depends on the specific renewable-energy certificates, procurement structure and applicable reporting methodology. Businesses should confirm treatment with their sustainability adviser or NABERS assessor.

Board / shareholder positioning
Show your board you're doing something different.
SolarCloud lets management present a simple story:
- We reduced energy costs.
- We own real solar.
- We didn't need the office roof.
- We can take it with us if we move.
- And we can scale it as the business grows.
That is a much more innovative story than: "We asked the landlord if there was room for some panels."
Moving office
Your office lease has an end date. Your SolarCloud doesn't have to.
Traditional rooftop solar is attached to the building. SolarCloud is attached to the business relationship and account structure, not the roof.
Move from Level 5 to Level 25?
Update the account.
Move from Sydney to Melbourne?
Update the account.
Change energy retailer?
Update the account.
The business moves. The solar moves with it.
Multi-site corporates
One business. Multiple offices. One solar strategy.
A SolarCloud corporate model can be sized around the organisation's broader energy requirements rather than one building's roof.
Expand the business? Expand the SolarCloud.
Office tenants
Tenant? You can still own solar.
You can lease one small office, an entire floor, or ten floors — and still own real solar without installing anything on the landlord's property.
- No roof access required.
- No rooftop installation.
- No building modification.
Your landlord owns the building. Your company can own the solar.
