Deposit, Balance Payment and Allocation of Solar Capacity

1. Deposit

To secure your place in the SolarCloud allocation queue, you are required to pay a 10% deposit using one of the payment methods available on our website.

Payment of the deposit does not guarantee that your requested solar capacity is immediately available. Your deposit secures your place in the allocation process only.

SolarCloud is under no obligation to acquire solar generation capacity solely to satisfy an individual customer's order. Any acquisition and allocation of solar capacity remains subject to SolarCloud's commercial assessment, the availability of suitable projects, regulatory requirements, due diligence and SolarCloud's investment criteria.

2. Balance Payment

The remaining 90% balance will only be charged once SolarCloud has entered into a written agreement to acquire solar generation capacity that is capable of supplying all or part of your order.

SolarCloud allocates available capacity on a pro rata basis.

For example, if you order 1.0 kW of SolarCloud solar and only 0.5 kW becomes available, SolarCloud will only charge the remaining 90% balance relating to the 0.5 kW allocated to you. The balance of your order will remain pending until additional capacity becomes available, unless otherwise agreed.

The balance payment will typically be processed approximately four (4) days after the relevant solar capacity has become available and has been allocated to your account.

The balance payment will be debited using the same payment method used for the initial deposit, unless another payment method has been agreed by SolarCloud.

Electricity Retailer and Disbursement Details

It is your responsibility to provide complete and accurate electricity account, biller, BPAY, bank account or other details required to enable SolarCloud to make quarterly disbursement payments.

You are responsible for ensuring that these details remain accurate, valid and up to date.

SolarCloud may rely on the information provided by you when processing disbursements. SolarCloud accepts no responsibility for any delayed, rejected, misdirected or incorrectly applied payment resulting from incorrect, incomplete or outdated information supplied by you.

Where incorrect details are provided, it is your responsibility to contact the relevant energy retailer, biller, bank or financial institution and take reasonable steps to trace, recover or correct the payment. SolarCloud may provide reasonable assistance where practicable but does not guarantee that an incorrectly directed payment can be recovered.

Website Dashboard and Mobile Applications

SolarCloud may provide customers with access to a website dashboard, mobile applications and other digital tools for convenience.

These features are additional customer services only and do not form part of SolarCloud's obligations under the applicable Product Disclosure Statement.

Temporary unavailability, maintenance, updates, errors or technical issues affecting the dashboard, mobile applications or other digital tools will not affect your ownership of SolarCloud solar or SolarCloud's obligations under the Product Disclosure Statement.

SolarCloud may modify, suspend, update or discontinue any digital feature from time to time for operational, technical, security or commercial reasons.

Foreign Currency Risk

Some SolarCloud assets, projects, revenues, costs or underlying investments may be located outside Australia or denominated in foreign currencies.

Any gains or losses resulting from exchange rate movements are borne by the customer as part of the normal investment risks disclosed in the applicable Product Disclosure Statement.

SolarCloud does not guarantee any exchange rate, Australian-dollar return or protection from adverse foreign currency movements unless expressly stated in the relevant Product Disclosure Statement.
