One investment. Every community cost covered.
SolarCloud can do more than reduce your building’s electricity bill. Your owners corporation receives the AU$ value generated by its SolarCloud solar as quarterly credits.
Apply the credits to an Australian electricity bill or gas bill, or have them transferred directly to the owners corporation’s chosen bank account. From there, they can help fund every approved community expense—from lifts, pools and common-area power to insurance, cleaning, maintenance, gardens and repairs.
With enough SolarCloud solar, your quarterly AU$ credits could match some—or potentially all—of your community’s annual budgeted costs.
Turn solar generation into funding for your whole community
Every strata community has shared costs. Electricity is only one of them.
There are lifts, pools, pumps and lighting to operate; gardens and common areas to maintain; buildings to insure and clean; and repairs and future works to fund.
SolarCloud allows the owners corporation to own solar at the building level. The AU$ value generated is credited quarterly and can be transferred to the owners corporation’s chosen bank account—giving the community flexibility to put those funds toward its approved expenses.

How it works
- 01
Decide how much of the community budget to target
The owners corporation reviews its total annual budget—not only its electricity consumption—and chooses the proportion of community costs it wants its SolarCloud credits to help fund.
This could include day-to-day operating expenses, maintenance, insurance, cleaning, repairs and other approved costs.
- 02
The owners corporation purchases SolarCloud solar
The purchase is made at the strata level under the owners corporation. It is a one-off purchase — there are no individual lot transactions and no rooftop works. - 03
Your solar is hosted and operated
Your SolarCloud solar is located on premium commercial rooftops host sites globally and operated by SolarCloud, with up to a 25-year performance warranty. - 04
Receive flexible AU$ credits every quarter
The cash value generated by the owners corporation’s SolarCloud solar is credited quarterly.
The owners corporation can have its AU$ credits:
- Applied to an Australian electricity bill
- Applied to an Australian gas bill
- Transferred directly to a bank account of its choosing
Credits transferred to the owners corporation’s bank account can then be allocated toward approved community expenses in accordance with its budget and governance requirements.
