We link your energy account
Your SolarCloud returns build up daily and are paid as cash, not energy credits. Every quarter, that cash is applied straight to your nominated energy bill, cutting what you owe.
Because it's a cash credit, it reduces your whole bill — both usage and fixed charges — no matter how much you use or when. No battery needed, and it doesn't matter whether your usage matches your solar output.
Link your account
In your dashboard, go to 'Link My' → 'Electricity Account', then hit the plus button.
Name it and set your kW
Give the property a name (Home, Holiday apartment) and choose how many kW of SolarCloud panels to link to it.
Choose your energy company
Select your provider from the list and enter your account details. Works with every Australian energy company.
You're done
Moved house or switched providers? Click the pencil icon and repeat steps 2–3 to update.
Add another account
Second property, or want to credit a friend or family member's bill? Repeat steps 2–3 with their details.
